This spring, heavy rain swept through several provinces
in northern Afghanistan, resulting in floods that caused
major damage and destruction. More than 90,000 people
are estimated to have been affected by the torrential downpours.
Thousands lost their belongings and their homes. Clean water has been
a major need in theses provinces. Sawyer Filters made it possible to provide safe
