We have been working with Strawberries in Afghanistan since 2007 developing our expertise on strawberry production with day neutral and June varying varieties, under plastic, and in field, with various much techniques and irrigation systems.

Balkh has a profitable and growing market for Strawberries, people respond quickly and positively to the bright, sweet fruit and pay a premium for it. Jam is also a traditional breakfast food and strawberries can be processed into other marketable products. Fruit can generate revenues of more than $2,500 per jerib plus plant sales from the same plot an additional $1,300.
